Two Historical Sites in Yazd Join National Heritage

TEHRAN Two historical-religious sites in Yazd joined national heritage category, said director general of Yazd Cultural Heritage, Mohammad Hassan Khademzadeh. Historical Complex of Markar including a high school, a guidance school, an orphanage and a time tower and Jame' Mosque of Mohammad-Abad Village and its neighboring fortifications are the two sites which joined the national heritage. Some 73 works out of 2,000 historical and cultural sites which exist in Yazd Province have been registered in the category of national heritage.
